Categories of data processed

Identification and contact information (name, surname, address, email, telephone number).
Purchase and delivery data (items, amounts, addresses, tracking).
Payment data (token/transaction ID via provider; we do not store full card details).
Browsing and device data (IP, logs, cookies/online ID, pages visited, shopping cart, preferences).
Communications with support (email/WhatsApp).
Marketing data (newsletter/SMS preferences, opens/clicks, segmentation).
Aggregated/anonymous data for statistics.

Purposes and legal bases

Sales and order management (pre-contractual/contractual) – art. 6.1.b GDPR.
Legal obligations (accounting/tax, legal guarantee) – art. 6.1.c.
Security, anti-fraud, protection of rights – art. 6.1.f (legitimate interest).
Customer support via email/WhatsApp – art. 6.1.b or 6.1.f.
Email and SMS marketing (newsletters, promotions, cart recovery) – consent pursuant to art. 6.1.a; soft opt-in for customers on similar products, as required by art. 130 of the Privacy Code.
Light profiling (non-invasive recommendations/segments) – consent pursuant to Article 6.1.a or legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6.1.f, with the right to object.
Analytics and website/service improvement – art. 6.1.f.

Processing methods and security
Processing is carried out using IT tools with appropriate technical/organizational measures (encryption in transit, profiled access, backups, security logs).

Suppliers/Managers
Shopify platform (hosting and e-commerce features), payment gateways (cards, PayPal, Klarna), email/SMS providers (e.g., Shopify Email), and couriers. These entities operate as independent processors or controllers. An updated list is available upon request.

Shopify Network Intelligence
To improve store-related services (e.g., Shopify Email, Shop App, Search & Discovery), Shopify may process aggregated and anonymous user behavioral data (browsing/purchasing) from multiple stores. This data is not shared with other merchants and is used for product suggestions, recommendations, and analytics in compliance with the GDPR. You can object where applicable by contacting us.

Place of processing and transfers outside the EU
The data is processed in the EU/EEA and, when necessary, transferred to third countries in compliance with Articles 44–49 GDPR (adequacy decisions, SCC/Standard Contractual Clauses, supplementary measures).

Retention period

Orders and tax documents: up to 10 years.
Customer account: until deletion is requested.
Support: up to 24 months, barring disputes.
Marketing (email/SMS): until consent is revoked or objected to.
Cookie/analytics: according to technical duration or until consent is revoked.

User rights (Articles 15–22 GDPR)
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent. Requests can be made to hello@iquonique.com; complaints can be lodged with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Communication of data to third parties
Couriers, payment providers, e-commerce platforms, marketing/analytics tools, consultants, authorities. Only what is necessary for the purpose.

Minors
The site is not intended for children under 14. For children 14–18, marketing consent requires parental/guardian involvement where applicable.

Automated decisions
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal effects on you. Recommendations have limited impact and can be deactivated.

Changes
Any updates will be published with a new date. For changes in purpose or legal basis, we will request new consent when necessary.
